Do Reviews Matter?

By Chris Gore

In the summer everyone plans their vacations and taking small trips to their favorite destinations.  How do you know where to go, what to eat, or where to stay?

Today, the average American takes theses questions, and more, straight to the Internet.  Think about your last vacation. Did you pick out a place to stay based on the photos, or did you look at a review online?

According to a 2014 Consumer Review Survey on SearchEngineLand.com, 88% of consumers read reviews to determine the quality of that business.  That’s nine (9) out of ten (10) consumers who see what others say to determine where they will spend their time and money.

With so many consumers choosing to research before they purchase, reviews become extremely important.  Businesses should want to show the consumers that they listen to their compliments and concerns and they take what customers say seriously.

Online reviews are considered within the same category as word-of-mouth reviews.  The only difference is more people will be able to see a review than a direct word of mouth.  Since more people are able to read these reviews, it’s extremely important that they are quickly answered.

Performance Acura responds to each review no matter if it’s positive or negative.  We view reviews as a way to learn what we are doing well and what we need to improve on.  Nobody is perfect, and we are aware of that.  However, we can strive to be as close to perfect as we can be, by listening to our clients and improving off of every experience.  Our Service, Sales, and Parts Teams care about each of our clients and providing an experience that will make them smile, and keep coming back.

Keep up with Performance Acura on our Facebook page, or Twitter.  We always welcome our guests and encourage everyone to contact us any time.
