First of all, at this moment you might be thinking what does this have to do with Acura?! For those of you that do not know Acura is a Honda company. Secondly the features provided in Acura's are similar to the Honda Civic. What is with all of these cars looking like they came straight out of a science fiction film? We don't have the answer, but we sure do love it. The new design is going to be used in Acura's as well as all of the new technology.

The Honda AC-X, for Advanced Cruise eXperience, is something that Honda has been working on for a while. This vehicle can literally drive itself. No pun intended. This car can actually be put on autopilot and drive itself. Imagine sitting back and taking a nap while "driving" to your destination? The number of accidents on the road because of someone falling asleep will begin to fall as this new technology becomes the norm in all automakers. To be fair, this will not happen overnight, but the fact that the technology exists and is so far advanced can only mean that the "future" is right around the corner.

Another cool feature is that this car does not have a steering wheel. Instead it has 2 "joysticks", or "twin-lever steering" as Honda calls it, that will be used to control the vehicle when you feel like driving. So yes, you can drive it, but if you don't really feel like driving, then this car will take you places, this car will take Honda places, and this car will take Acura places.

Even the exterior of the car including the grille will be used in Acura's across the United States fairly soon. Will all of the developments in technology in the past two decades it makes us wonder what new forms of technology are right around the corner? This vehicle looks like it came out of someone's imagination and they just began to build it as they saw it in their mind. So who is to say the next great car of the future isn't already forming in the minds of select few? All they need is that moment that triggers their mind to work, and what better way to do that than by driving an Acura? Sit in these vehicles and let your mind wander, imagine, and create

Here is the AC-X
